Core training is an exercise that is performed on 1 or more exercise machines. These machines work your core muscles, which are located along your waist and back, and are designed for online fitness workouts for beginners to build endurance. As your endurance builds, your core stability improves and your athletic performance increases. 

Many people have grown to associate core training with sit-ups or crunches, but core training is much more involved than that. If your core muscles are strong and stable, they are able to support the rest of your body. In fact, core training, or isometric strength training, can improve your posture, balance, and overall body strength. 

Core training incorporates exercises that work your abdominal muscles, hip flexors, lower back, and oblique muscles, which are groups of muscles on each side of the body. These muscles are important because they attach to and support the spine, and they help move your body under gravity. Core training can be broken down into the categories of resistance training, abdominal training, and back training. Resistance training uses weights, elastic bands, or your own body weight to build muscle strength. Abdominal training uses abdominal exercises such as crunches, side bends, and sit-ups to strengthen these muscles. Back training uses tools such as a stability ball, an exercise ball, or a Bosu ball to build flexibility in your lower back and abdominal muscles.
